Best Place To Get Free Vst

I made this list merging sites from a previous post with some personal addition in order to make a more practical (because in the original you would have to read all the comments) list of website where you can find free vst and what i mentioned in the title. I will update the list with sites that will be mentioned in the original post but you can also tell me something to add down here. Also if you have your personal samples storage like on google drive or mega with some old ones that are no more available on the web, you can contribute!

Note: this is not a list about which are the best VSTs or samples but only about which are the best sites where you guys can find it. If you want i will make that list later, let me know. Also this is all about freebies like the original, so don't post cracked materials.

You can find all types of VST plugins that are free. Many are excellent quality. Plugins - Free (VST, AU) Splice The 60 Best Free VST Plugins of 2016 LANDR Blog. Before we dive deep, I want to say that my opinion is to get some free plugins and then also get a couple of huge VST libraries that you purchase. They can be expensive, so the best option is to bundle and get a couple that cover a lot of the bases, rather than spend a bunch on each instrument. Steven Slate Drums SSD5 Free. This is, in my opinion, one of the best free live drum VST plugins you can get. Steven Slate has created a name for himself producing some of the best live kits with world-class engineers like Chris Lord Alge. You only get one kit but you can tune it. Some of the best VST plugins are free, and for the ones that aren't, you can find free alternatives that work just fine.

I’ve been storing a list of websites where you can download a large number of free VSTs to play around with VSTs . Developers challenges – competitions for people to make the best VSTs, banks and patches, the ability to rate plugins, huge community on the forums. Autotune vst. One stop resource for pretty much all of the plugins out there.

Rekkerd : Rekkerd only hosts good plugins. Some of the best ones hosted on there are the DSK ones – well worth a look at.

Delamancha : Really nicely laid out site – easy to search, easy on the eyes. Has a freeware section, and a paid section (with demos). NB – All software on here is Windows ONLY

Sad Glad : 670 VST plugins. Not a very attractive website, but it does the job. No ads anywhere on it. Directs you to the original homepages of the plugins, so if you’re searching for something specific, you’re better off just going to its website, rather than here.

VST Central : I’m having a hard time deciding if this is laid out well or not. In some ways its good and in other ways its difficult to follow. Handy in that it lists the OS for each VST, but not easy accessible in that you can’t sort by category – you have to search for a keyword, and hope it brings up what you want. Most of the links are user submitted which is different from the rest of the sites.

There you have it – a list of plenty of plugins for you to play around with. Honestly, I can say I havent tried many at all. However, one of my favourites that is just a lot of fun to play around with is Toad by Tweakbench – recreate those classic Nintendo sounds!
